Fossil AuriculatUs Shark Teeth

Fossil auriculatis shark teeth are the fossilized teeth of the extinct shark Carcharocles auriculatus. Carcharocles auriculatus was a large megatooth shark that lived during the Eocene epoch, about 38 to 33 million years ago. Fossil auriculatis shark teeth are characterized by their large size, triangular crown, and very large side cusps which are heavily serrated. The teeth can reach up to 130 mm (5.1 in) in length and were some of the largest shark teeth of all time.
