Chilean Great White Shark Teeth

The Chilean great white shark is the same species as the great white shark found in other parts of the world, Carcharodon carcharias. However, the Chilean population is thought to be genetically distinct from other great white shark populations. Chilean great white sharks are typically smaller than great white sharks found in other parts of the world, with males averaging around 3.4 to 4.0 meters (11 to 13 feet) in length and females averaging around 4.6 to 4.9 meters (15 to 16 feet) in length. However, there have been reports of Chilean great white sharks measuring up to 5.5 meters (18 feet) in length.
