Obliquus Shark Teeth

Journey to the dawn of the megatooth lineage with our collection of authentic Otodus obliquus shark teeth. As the ancient ancestor of the legendary Megalodon, the Otodus is defined by its massive, robust root and a thick, triangular crown flanked by two prominent lateral cusplets. Our specimens are primarily recovered from the phosphate mines of the Ouled Abdoun Basin in Morocco, where they are found in a stunning range of “desert” colors—from creamy sand to deep chocolate browns. These Paleocene fossils represent a time when sharks first began their evolution toward massive sizes, making the Otodus an essential foundational piece for any serious paleontological display.
