Fossil Serrated Mako Shark Teeth
Step into a pivotal moment of marine prehistory with our selection of authentic Carcharomodus escheri teeth. Often hailed as the “European Great White,” the Carcharomodus is a legendary transitional species that bridged the gap between the smooth-edged Makos and the serrated giants of the Pliocene. These fossils are iconic for their slender, asymmetrical crowns and their “proto-serrations”—fine, often irregular jagged edges that represent a unique evolutionary experiment in the North Sea Basin. Primarily recovered from the Neogene deposits of Antwerp, Belgium, our Carcharomodus escheri specimens are hand-selected for their signature “Antwerp Blue” and olive-drab coloration, offering a sophisticated aesthetic for the discerning paleontological collector.
